The excellent cuisine in Exuma has something for everyone. Terrific home-cooking makes for delicious meals that are easily accessible at many restaurants and grocery stores throughout the island.

CHAT 'N' CHILL

Yaht folks, locals, and visitors all come together for delicious food at the Chat 'N' Chill on Stocking Island. This beach bar grills all of their food over an open fire. After feeding the wild stingray that hangout at the Chat 'N' Chill, visitors can enjoy a fresh conch salad prepared beachside at the conch shack. Pig Roast Sundays are a legendary tradition that attract many people all over Great Exuma. Besides the mouth-watering food, the Chat 'N' Chill offers dancing and bonfires during the winter season and volleyball courts, swings, and hammocks all year round.


Hop a water taxi from Georgetown to Stocking Island and plan on staying a while at this local favorite.

SANTANAS

This seaside beach bar is the closest restaurant to the island-famous beach, the Tropic of Cancer. Specialties include freshly cooked lobster, cracked conch, shrimp, and an array of grilled fish. All meals include a side of baked macaroni and cheese or peas 'n' rice. Santanas was a favorite among the Pirates of the Carribean cast.

BIG D'S CONCH SHACK

In this splatter-painted cabana style restaurant, you can chose from a variety of delicious Bahamian food including fresh conch and an array of different sandwiches. Big D's is open every day for lunch and dinner except for Mondays. You can't get a better water view, and the beach is great so don't forget your swimsuit!

TROPIC BREEZE BEACH BAR & GRILL

Stop by the Tropic Breeze Beach Bar & Grill for lunch or dinner that comes with a breathtaking view. Their specialties include seafood nachos, fresh lobster, surf & turf cheesburgers, and chicken wings. Tropic Breeze is a favorite among locals as well as visitors so don't forget to check it out.

PALAPA POOL BAR & GRILL

This poolside restaurant serves three meals a day, everyday. The extensive menu offers American classics as well as Bahamian specialties. Dinner favorites include ahi tuna steak, shrimp pasta, prime rib eye, and baby back ribs. Palappa Pool Bar & Grill is known for it's magnificent view as well as fun drink list that includes many frozen concoctions.

SPLASH BAR & GRILL

This lively bar & grill is a popular hangout for locals as well as visitors. Enjoy the view of the harbor and Stocking island while savoring the excellent food. Lunch specialties are fish burgers, conch burgers, and regular burgers. Dinner highlights include grilled grouper, cracked conch, and pizza.
